Fusilli with Pesto Genovese

Made with Fusilli

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 Package of Triumph Fusilli
  • 30g Basil Leaves
  • 60g Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 30g Parmigiano Reggiano
  • 15g Pecorino
  • 15g Pine Nuts
  • 1 Small Clove of Garlic
  • 1 Teaspoon Coarse Salt

Method:

We start with boiling water in a pot to cook the pasta as per the instructions on the back of the package.

In a bowl, we crush the salt and garlic. Then we add the pine nuts and crush again until we have a powdered mixture.

In the same bowl we add the basil leaves, and we crush until the leaves melt.

Finally, we add the Parmigiano and Pecorino along with the oil and mix very well.

When the pasta is ready, we combine with our pesto, mix, and serve immediately.
